Why do we think we can actually pull this off?
Outpost was founded by Lena Govedarica, a Woman International Master (WIM), certified FIDE Instructor, and FIDE Arbiter with a lifelong career in competitive chess. Lena has played in European and World Championships, coached students to top national rankings in the US, and served as a Fair Play Arbiter at the 2022 Chess Olympiad in Chennai. She knows exactly what it takes to improve at chess, and more importantly, she knows what holds most players back.
